How Plants Produce Seeds

SEEDS TO GROW AGAIN AND AGAIN

Plants in order to produce future generations of plants must produce seeds. Most vegetable plants will produce seeds if you let them grow after they’ve produced enough leafy or roots veggies. You just let them grow and they’ll grow a stalk with flowers. Soon afterwards, they’ll produce SEED PODS then you either cut the stalks off and dry them in the sun or pick of the pods and dry them in the sun.

That’s how plants propagate so it’s up to you and your garden arrangement to determine your course of action. If you have limited space then cut the stalks off and plow the roots under for fertilizers for the next veggies. Gathering the seed this way insure you have seeds for the next planting and it’ll save you money by not buying veggie plants at the plant stores.
